This guide walks you through creating a Data Stream to export data from the platform.

Prerequisite

• Ensure you have a Data Stream template configured for your account. Contact Alteia Support if you need template configuration assistance
• Ensure your credential are configured for your data destination

Step-by-Step Creation Guide

Step 1 - Click on “+ DATA STREAM” to create a new Data Stream.

Step 2- Select a Data Stream template for export and  click on "DATASTREAM CONFIGURATION"

Step 5 - Enter the data Stream Information.

- Template and company: information inherited from the template, corresponding to the name of the template and the company in which the datastream will be created 

The requested information depends on the template configuration

- Global Information Section

- Name : Data Steam name

- Description : additional context

- Source setting Section

For Insight / Asset Manager Data :

- Namespace, collection name and Measure name : to select the data you wish to export. e.g. work zone data

- Data selection - from date and Data selection - to date : filter for relevant data

For Project Data :

- Company, project, mission : Define the scope of your export by choosing all company data, or restricting it to a specific project or mission.

- Type and Categories : Select the specific data types and/or categories you want to export

- Export setting Section

- Destination Link: target storage URL

- Credential name: the credential name to use to connect to the data destination  

Step 5 - Click on the "CREATE DATA STREAM" and "CONFIRM" to validate the creation

Results

• Your Data Stream starts automatically
• Real-time monitoring becomes available
• Your data is processed using the transformations defined in the template. For example, it can be converted into GeoParquet format to simplify storage, analysis, and reuse
• Data is exported regularly according to the frequency defined in the template
• Your data is available in the defined data destination
